Misconception correction #2 is surrounding test scores. Here at Armadillo we focus on student growth & our scores show growth above the national average. Continuous self-assessment and reflection lead to increased critical thinking skills & increased growth.

Misconception Correction Campaign. Armadillo is on a mission to correct the misconceptions surrounding our wonderful school. Misconception #1 is that our school is "easy" and the academics are not challenging. The truth: learning is "easier" when you receive individualized attention & critical thinking is emphasized over memorization. Small class sizes mean better learning experiences for all!

Monday had an amazing campus cleanup crew here & we could not be more thankful! Our campus looks amazing with so much biomass refuse removed.

What's your "hill to die on"? Students chose their hills as an introduction to Project-Based Learning.
Come see their finalized projects on October 30 for Illumination Night.
Students will create an original art piece, an light box, and a persuasive essay on their topic.

Today, we said goodbye to the 24-25 school year - but we did it Armadillo style with a bbq, music, fresh salad from our own garden, and lots of laughter! We are excited to celebrate our graduates tomorrow 🎓 Hope to see you there.

Continuing our quest for delicious food & exposing our students to new things, we tried REAL Chicago pizza. Deep dish was a hit!

We LOVE sharing new experiences with our students - so we took them ziplining! No better way to build trust then dangling over 500 feet in the air!

Healthy, fresh, and amazing community building around food all provided with thanks to Ashland Community Health Foundation - we LOVE giving our students delicious options!

Wacky Awards are every staff's favorite! It's a time for staff to honor EVERY student on our campus with something uniquely for them.; they range from sill flying pigs to heartfelt reminders of bravery. We ended the day with yearbooks & we have to say our journalists an amazing job this year!
